Young Masters Art Prize

Young Masters

The Young Masters Art Prize was founded in 2009 by respected gallerist, Cynthia Corbett, who launched the prize in order to celebrate artistic skill and innovation.  The Second Edition of the Prize in 2012 included exhibitions at Sphinx Fine Art in October 2012, and an exhibition and prize ceremony at Gallery 27 on Cork Street in November, with 26 shortlisted artists presented alongside three guest artists: Yinka Shonibare MBE, Ali Assaf and Lluís Barba.  2013 saw a highly successful Tour of seven venues throughout the UK, including Cork Street, Henley Festival and Sphinx Fine Art.

The Young Masters Art Prize 2014 will feature all shortlisted artists, selected from an international open call for artists, at two London exhibitions: Sphinx Fine Art and the Lloyds Club.  An expert judging panel, including Godfrey Barker, Charles Saumarez Smith, Ben Austin, Werner Grub, Roy Bolton and Daisy McMullan will award the Prize.  Please see for more details.
